Margaret River Vintage Wine Tour - Oct 24

October 23, 2015 - Got up for another day long winery tour and so much more!  It was just Lana and I on this tour - so just like a private tour.  This time we went with  Margaret River Vintage Wine Tour.  Amazingly we didn't go to any of the same places.

We went to the following wineries:  Watershed, Voyager Estate, Leeuwin,  Bettenay's (also nougat), Adifern Winery
other places we stopped at and tasted things:  Margaret River Chocolate Company, Olio Bello - olive oil, MR Venison, MR Dairy Company - great cheeses

Note to self:   go to these places first to stock up on yummy food to take back to your hotel/house for dinners.

Marvellous Margaret River and Bunker's Bay

October 21-23, 2015

Stayed in a luxury resort Pullman Resort - Bunker's Bay and a Mom and Pop B&B!  Pullman's was awesome.  We didn't really get to take full advantage of the area as we came in after the whale watching and the next day went puttering around in the car.  We went out to Yallingup to see the surf and out to Canal Rocks - both spectacular!

Having a whale of a time down under! (Busselton to Dunsborough to Bunker's Bay)

October 20-21, 2015

Lana and I continued our road trip down south - did a quick stop in Busselton which has a very long jetty (1.84 km long one way!).

Lana and I went whale watching off the coast of Dunsborough from 2-4pm.  We used a fantastic company see link here Whale Watching  - we didn't get as close to them as I thought though it was still amazing.  I was lucky enough to see a whale breach but did not have the opportunity to catch a photo.

Saw a breaching whale but was not quick enough with the camera!
